A little training can go a long way

Beneficiaries have included Southampton City Council, Eastleigh Borough Council , Southampton Primary Healthcare Trust, Solent University, Housing Associations, local charities, health professionals, Citizen Advice staff and the wider voluntary sector.

We carefully tailor our course to the needs of the commissioning organisation, to ensure the training is at the appropriate level for the staff and volunteers so they can assist their client group.

We try to be flexible in our approach and are happy to deliver training at any suitable location of our clients choice. We can operate courses for a minimum 5 people up to 20 at a time. We have matched smaller organisations together to try and share the cost and we will always try to be as flexible as possible with our charges.

We have several basic core courses which are suitable for advice workers. We also have awareness courses designed to give key workers and health
professionals a better understanding of the benefit
system and the changes coming into force.
